Patient Information

Welcome

We understand that no one looks forward to having a root canal, but you are making a wonderful decision to save your natural tooth. We will strive to make your treatment a pleasant experience. Our goal is to change the reputation of the root canal, one patient at a time.

What You Really Want to Know

YOUR FIRST QUESTION

Will it hurt?

We understand that everyone has heard the negative comments about root canals and the potential discomfort of the procedure. However, anesthetic techniques have evolved significantly over the years and as an endodontic specialist, we have advanced training in various techniques. Our goal is to have you be completely comfortable throughout the treatment. It should be similar to getting a filling.
YOUR SECOND QUESTION

How much will it cost and will my insurance cover it?

We will not be able to determine the cost of your treatment needs until a thorough examination is completed and an accurate diagnosis and treatment options are discussed. Fees are based upon the treatment type as well as the tooth type. We welcome most insurances and will be happy to verify your benefits. However, please keep in mind that dental insurance is a contracted relationship between you and the insurance provider. If you have any questions regarding your insurance coverage, we encourage you to contact your insurance provider prior to your appointment.

Deductibles and co-pays are due at the time of treatment and any denied claims or unpaid balances become the responsibility of the patient. For those patients that are self-pay, payment is due at the time of service. Our commitment to you is that the best treatment options will always be presented regardless of insurance coverage or form of payment.
YOUR THIRD QUESTION

How long will it take?

We understand and appreciate that your time is valuable and we know that you would rather be doing anything other than getting a root canal. However, the duration of treatment will depend upon many factors including the complexity of the tooth anatomy and the specifics of your case. Our goal is to provide the highest quality for each patient and ensure that the appropriate amount of time is dedicated to your treatment needs.

Root canal treatments may be completed in one or two visits depending upon many factors, however the cost for the treatment remains the same regardless of the amount of time or visits required to complete the therapy. Our commitment to our patients is that we will always focus on quality over quantity and provide each case our complete attention to ensure the best clinical outcome.
